Non-flammable and non-toxic gases, which consist of gases that are transported at an absolute pressure greater than or equal to 280 kPa (≈ 40.6 psi) at 20°C (68°F), or as refrigerated liquids, and that are not included in Class 2.1 (Flammable Gases), Class 2.3 (Toxic Gases), or any other hazard class.
Class 8 materials include corrosive chemicals that can cause irreversible damage to skin or other materials upon contact or leakage.
Class 9 hazards are classified as miscellaneous dangerous goods, which include lithium batteries, asbestos, dry ice, and other regulated consumer commodities. These materials are identified by a half-white and half-black-and-white striped label, with the hazard class number “9” displayed in the lower white portion.
